We provide a full-day kindergarten program incorporating a strong focus on literacy development. Our dedicated, experienced staff has credentials that meet or exceed state regulations, including degreed teachers in our preschool and kindergarten classrooms. Our classrooms target areas of writing, independent reading, alphabet and sight word work, and book discussions.
Our well-rounded curriculum is strengthened by TLLC (Teaching Language, Literature, and Culture), which has a multicultural emphasis and teaches academics as well as the advantages of diversity. The core of this curriculum provides for a smooth transition to the surrounding school districts. An October field trip to Highland Orchards enriched our cross-curricular unit on apples.
The Center provides nutritionally balanced breakfasts, lunches, and afternoon snacks with milk or juice, at no additional cost to parents. Meals are served to children under the Child and Adult Care Food Program.
