Subsidized Care

The subsidized childcare program helps low-income families pay their childcare costs. You must live in Pennsylvania, apply in the county where you live, and have a child or children who need child care while you are working or attending an education or training program. Additional requirements and/or restrictions may apply.

The application is available online here:

By completing this application, the Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC) will be able to determine if you and your family are eligible to receive subsidized funding to help pay for your childcare services.

We accept all types of subsidized funding, but we are required to follow all rules and regulations that are required by ELRC/Child Care Works. This includes but is not limited to collecting co-pays every week. If co-pays are not paid in full by Friday morning of that week, we must report this to ELRC, and a family’s funding could be at risk.

There are never any hidden or additional fees besides what is noted for field trips or special events. We NEVER put any limitations on the number of enrolled subsidized families.
